HTML 5 is a mark-up language that specifies how to present content to a user in web browsers. HTML is what we generally think of as the “language” of the web, and in HTML 5, it includes APIs (application programming interfaces) and DOM (abstract syntax). The specification defines features like audio and video, geolocation, offline applications, drag-and-drop, additional data types like microdata, new forms elements for submitting data, etc. There are only benefits of HTML 5, such as some new elements and attributes, hyperlinks and mobile compatibility. It provides a visual formatting system that simplifies web page design. HTML5 will handle animation better than ever before. The best thing is that it can be used without plugins and without the need to download extra apps or plugins to read it on your PC or mobile devices.
